Online Nutrition Counseling
These sessions, managed by our in-house Registered Dietitian, Leah Silberman, MS, RD, are meant to supplement patient care through health, wellness, and dietary guidance. We encourage anyone who is interested in clinical dietary assistance to book a complimentary phone consultation with Leah, where she will explain the program structure as it pertains to your personal needs.
The realities of the COVID-19 pandemic have caused many businesses to rethink the way that we connect with and serve people. We want to continue offering the personal service and attention that our customers deserve while still being conscious of our role in protecting the safety of the community. That’s why Wellhaus now offers virtual online counseling sessions to allow you to connect with us face-to-face from the comfort of your own home.
What is online nutrition counseling?
Today is the first step on a path to better health, and we are excited to join you on this journey. As your nutritional counseling specialist, we help people locally in Midtown East, New York City, and virtually from all over the world. We take a holistic, evidence-based approach to nutritional counseling, looking at all the factors in how your diet affects your health and function. Whether the goal is solely weight loss, lowering blood pressure, or addressing any other aspect of your overall health, we will provide a plan that is personalized for you.
Who we work with
Whether you have a medical condition that requires clinical nutritional intervention for management or are simply trying to find a dietary plan to improve your overall health, we’ve got you covered.
What to expect
Besides improved nutrition, our dietitian will be guiding you through your daily habits, routines, and food choices. A mixture of coach, confidant, and accountability buddy, our clinical nutritionist will get you to where you want to be.
how our online nutritional counseling program works
We offer packages of 3, 6, and 10 weeks.
The first session across all packages is an initial assessment. This is where we go over your health history, goals, and any other relevant information to understanding who you are and what your specific needs may be.
The second session is where you receive your plan that’s created entirely and specifically for you, to help you reach your health goals
Sessions thereafter are follow-ups. These weekly follow-ups help to hold you accountable and allow us to touch base consistently as we monitor your success!
FAQ
While we can help with improving your life through nutritional counseling, we do not accept insurance for our sessions. The personalized care and attention we feel our patients deserve is not attainable through the use of traditional insurance reimbursements.
